BOE also said that the company's 6th generation flexible AMOLED production line is progressing smoothly. The first phase is full, the yield is maintained at a high level and continues to improve. The 6th generation flexible AMOLED production line in Mianyang has just been mass-produced, and the production capacity is good. Rate climbs.
It is reported that BOE announced in March that the total investment of this project is 46.5 billion yuan, and its main products are positioned as AMOLED high-end mobile phone display and emerging mobile display products. At that time, the announcement stated that the company name was Chongqing BOE Display Technology Co., Ltd.; main products: flexible display products such as mobile phones, car and foldable notebooks; glass substrate size: 1,500mm × 1,850mm; design capacity: 48K / month; project Construction period: 28 months.
It is worth noting that, previously, according to the Nikkei Asian Review, Apple is testing BOE's flexible OLED screen, which is planned for next year's iPhone. Currently, testing has entered the final sprint phase. If it meets Apple's standards, it will be used in the iPhone next year.
Therefore, if BOE enters the Apple supply chain, it will become the third OLED screen supplier after Samsung and LG.
